CASTING PROCESSES

When designing, specifying, or purchasing castings, it is helpful to be familiar with all of the casting processes that are in use today. An engineer might visualize a part to be cast, but think of only a single casting process, not realizing the benefits of the other processes. Similarly, a buyer may have difficulty finding a foundry to handle a "special" casting job if he or she has limited knowledge of the casting processes. Hopefully we can assist you in learning a little more about the "Wonderful World of Casting" by using our CASTING WEB PAGE.
